Stefan Al is the author of Supertall: How the World's Tallest Buildings Are Reshaping Our Cities and Our Lives, as well as The Strip: Las Vegas and Architecture of the American Dream, among other works of architectural research. He holds a PhD in urban planning from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a licensed architect in New York.
