D'Anne Burwell is the award-winning author of Saving Jake: When Addiction Hits Home. She advocates for families struggling with substance abuse through national speaking engagements, radio commentaries, and parent mentoring. D'Anne holds a master's degree in education and is the mother of two young adults. She lives with her husband in Silicon Valley.
