Graphic Designer

Tantor Media, Inc. is a rapidly growing audiobook company and currently has openings for a full-time Audiobook Proofreaders. Candidates must be able to work out of the Tantor Media headquarters in Old Saybrook, CT.

What We’re Looking For is a creative person who has the ability to make complex photo-manipulations look like seamless original photography but who can also use fonts and typography like a pro. You’d need to be able to take a bit of criticism; we deal with a lot of folks both in and out of house who have say over our final designs, so the ability to adapt to someone else’s ideas (and pretty quickly, at that) is a must. Communication skills, prioritization, composition, and traditional artistic talent are pretty key, too.

We have a really good group of designers here who work as a team striving to make their targeted deadlines, but who also work on their own covers and marketing materials with a great deal of individuality and creative freedom. If this description sounds like you and is in an environment you’d like to work in, please send in your resume, your salary requirements, pdf portfolio, or link to an online portfolio (make sure your portfolio link is in the body of an attached pdf resume - some sites will drop your active link from the online editor as if it were spam). We look forward to hearing from you!
