Heather McManamy

When she received her stage-four cancer diagnosis in 2014, Heather McManamy (1979–2015) made the decision to live life, rather than concentrate on the unfairness of the universe. She retired from her research specialist position at the University of Wisconsin–Madison to focus on what was most important: her family.
