Johann Buessow

Johann Buessow is professor of Middle Eastern studies at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. He specializes in the social and cultural history of the modern Middle East. He is the author of Hamidian Palestine and the coauthor, with Khaled Safi, of Damascus Affairs.
