John Farmer

In addition to working as senior counsel to the 9/11 Commission and assisting in the writing of The 9/11 Commission Report, John Farmer has served as attorney general of New Jersey, as chief counsel to Governor Christine Todd Whitman, as a federal prosecutor, and as an adviser to the special envoy for Middle East regional security. Most recently, he has become dean of Rutgers University Law School in Newark. His editorials and articles have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and elsewhere. He lives in New Jersey.
