John Russell Rickford

John Russell Rickford is a former president of the Linguistics Society of America. He was elected to membership in the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences. Rickford is coeditor of African-American English, now available as a Routledge Linguistics Classic.
