Paul J. Silvia, PhD

Paul J. Silvia, PhD, is the Lucy Spinks Keker Excellence Professor in the department of psychology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he has worked since 2002. He conducts research on the psychology of aesthetics, creativity, and the arts. Recent work explores the neuroscience of creative thought, the experience of "inner music," and when people find art interesting, intriguing, and awe-inspiring.
