Robert Karen, PhD

Robert Karen is a clinical psychologist in private practice in New York City and an award-winning author of The Forgiving Self, among other books. His articles have appeared in the Atlantic, New York magazine, The Nation, Contemporary Psychoanalysis, the Psychoanalytic Quarterly, the Yale Review, Vogue, and elsewhere. He is also an adjunct professor in the Postgraduate Program in Group Psychotherapy at Adelphi University.
