Ruchama Feuerman
Ruchama Feuerman was born in Nashville, Tennessee. Her father is a third-generation American, born and raised in the South; her maternal family has lived in Casablanca for centuries. At seventeen, Feuerman moved to Israel, where she lived and taught for a decade. Dubbed a "Jewish Jane Austen" by Kirkus Reviews, Feuerman's novels have earned the praise of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Her stories and essays have appeared in many publications, including the New York Times.
