Sandra M. Gustafson
Sandra M. Gustafson specializes in American literature and culture at the University of Notre Dame, where she is a member of the English faculty and a faculty fellow at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. Her previous works include Imagining Deliberative Democracy in the Early American Republic and Eloquence is Power: Oratory and Performance in Early America, as well as two coedited volumes: Reimagining the Republic: Race, Citizenship, and Nation in the Literary Work of Albion Tourgée and Cultural Narratives: Textuality and Performance in American Culture before 1900.
