Sarah Lizabeth Barker

Sarah Lizabeth Barker is passionate about serving others. Her mission with each client is to listen and give them their wedding dreams that reflect who they are as a couple. While she is the one who plans and moves all the pieces, her clients are the stars. Sarah has spent over two decades building relationships with clients and vendors. It is her purpose: to do good in the wedding and event industry that impacts others' lives.

Sarah is the owner of Sarah Lizabeth Events, a full-service wedding and event planner, florist, and decorator based out of Nashville, Tennessee. She and her husband also own and operate a wedding and event venue called Pinewood Retreat. Sarah is the CEO and founder of Give A Wedding, a national mission-based organization that gives to couples in need and gives business to their partners in the wedding industry across the United States.

Sarah's work has been featured in the HuffPost, BuzzFeed, PopSugar, MSN Lifestyle, Every Last Detail, Wedding Chicks, Desiree Hartsock Bridal, Southern Weddings, Nashville Bride Guide, Expertise, Green Wedding Shoes, and Borrowed and Blue. She has also won several industry awards, including best wedding planner and florist in Nashville, and was named an Industry Leader for Smart Meetings magazine. Sarah also has a series of stories from her past clients' weddings on YouTube called Stories with Sarah Lizabeth. Through those stories she shares the good and bad from the over 600 weddings she has had the honor to produce through the years. You will laugh and you will cry, but most of all you will feel normal.

Sarah's favorite moment on a wedding day is one that very few get to see. When a bride is standing behind the closed doors, waiting to take her first step down the aisle, she can't help but think of all the steps in her life that led to this one. In that moment, there is pure joy.
