Shannon Galpin

Shannon Galpin is the founder and president of Mountain2Mountain, a nonprofit organization focused on helping women and children in Afghanistan. Her humanitarian efforts have been profiled on Dateline NBC and CNN and in the New York Times, USA Today, and Outside Magazine. Her first TEDx talk, held in 2012, was on the Power of Voice, which best illustrates the thread that links all of her work together. Shannon is the subject of the award-winning documentary film MoveShake, which screened at film festivals throughout 2012 and 2013, and she is working as the producer for an upcoming documentary about the Afghan National Women's Cycling Team. Shannon lives in Colorado.
