Book 19: Wildlife, Warrants, & Weapons: It just creams Mae's corn when her handy man, Henry Bryant, is accused of illegal logging in the Daniel Boone National Forest. It burnt her up when he was accused of killing of killing the person found under a tree and dusts her sleuthing cap off to find out who the real culprit is.

Book 20: Blossoms, Barbeque, & Blackmail: Mae thought she had her hands full when Dottie Swaggert and Mary Elizabeth Moberly entered the Ms. Blossom Queen Beauty Pageant for seniors but when she witnessed a fight at the festival between Carrie Patillo and Jason Dresser, Carrie's daughter's accused killer, she knew Jason was wrongfully accused for the murder and set up.
