Kathy Bell Denton
Kathy Bell Denton, originally from Tennessee, has spent most of her professional career on the West Coast. Her first books took advantage of her Southern heritage, but her acting flexibility and talent with accents has led her into voicing an international cast of characters. She is a theater actress with an MFA in acting from UCLA who has performed everything from classics, musicals, and Shakespeare, to world premieres and brings an actor's delight in language and storytelling strength to her work.
Kathy has been a teacher, a singer, and an acting coach for children and adults. She has done research and substantiation work for the health and medical division of SHM Publishing, and also has participated in deposition training programs for attorneys, improvisational work as various scientists being deposed, as well as portraying pharma reps for drug openings. She is a member of Sacred Fools Theater, The Road Theatre, and on the board of The Classical Theatre Lab.
