Melanie Carey

Melanie Carey is a classically trained actor based in Seattle. Her voice is described as "bright," "warm," and "sensual," and her performances are acknowledged for their emotional expressiveness and courageous range. She brings to each project a deep commitment to the author's mission and a joy of storytelling. She earned a BA in drama from the University of Washington in addition to completing an acting intensive at the Marymount College London Drama Program. Before coming to audiobooks she worked in theater, hypnosis, and yoga. She has studied with Carol Monda, Johnny Heller, and Sean Allen Pratt. If she had a spirit animal, it would be a book worm.
