Samuel E. Hoke

Samuel E. Hoke III began his professional career as a stage actor in his teens and early twenties. Not long into his stage career the lure of the FM radio caught and held him for over a decade; he worked as an on-air personality in Cleveland, Cincinnati (yes, he worked at WKRP, which is a real station with the call letters of WKRQ. So they just backed up one letter in the alphabet to get WKRP). On air in Cincinnati also included WEBN, considered the original progressive rock station and the longest running progressive rock station.

During that same time period he helped found a state of the art twenty four track studio over the river from Cincinnati in Northern Kentucky, then operating as Forum Recording. Forum was then used in the production of two number one in the world singles: "Kiss You All Over" by Exile and the mix of Blondie's "Parallel Lines" album, which had the number one single "Heart of Glass."

Then life happened. In a big way! The responsibility of family brought him to corporate America and back to academia. He earned three university degrees, including an MBA from American and a long list of professional credentials culminating with a post graduate certification in strategic leadership from Cornell University.

His primary roles in his corporate incarnation include IBM, Bank of America, and Capital One, where he was the senior technology strategist.

As we have all heard at some time or another "Life is a circle" and his transit has brought him back to acting. He's done a couple of network appearances, one in the series A Haunting and another in the series Legends and Lies. However, he once again found passion performing in audiobooks.
