Sarah Coomes
Sarah Coomes trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She has worked extensively in British theater and has starred in BBC sitcoms and dramas before endeavoring to write, direct, and produce her own material.
Having had a classical training, voice and text has always been at the forefront of her life and career and so she takes great care and pride in the sound quality she delivers to her clients and has won three AudioFile Earphones Awards for her audiobook work.
She has written, directed, and produced seven of her own shows, two of which made it from London and Edinburgh on to New York and Los Angeles, where she had her own regular show at The Comedy Store there. She also writes plays and screenplays and won the Westminster prize for playwriting, for her play Hookie. She is passionate about audiobooks and animation and has just finished writing her first animation feature and her own first YA title. She is really happy to be narrating for Tantor Audio.
