Full Synopsis
I hate being a shifter.

I was bitten by a rogue in the Louisiana bayou, and I'm desperate to find a way to break the curse of the cat that shivers under my skin . . . and to steal a talisman that's rumored to do exactly that. Problem is, it's secreted away in the penthouse apartment of Alpha Anthony Holder, and he doesn't take it well when he catches me breaking in.

Surprisingly, instead of punishing me, Anthony offers training and protection, as well as a place in his pride. I want to say no, but I'm drawn to the big, sexy Alpha in inexplicable ways. He makes me feel safe, and his pride gives me a sense of family I've never had before.

Danger lurks in the bayou, however, exposing secret after secret. The rogue shifter who bit me is still on the loose, leaving bodies in its wake and putting the whole pride at risk. It's up to the Alpha to find and eliminate the threat before someone else dies.

Then I and Anthony can try to figure out why it seems like our connection is so much more than mere attraction. It's almost like we're fated mates.
