Art T. Burton

The author of three critically acclaimed and well-respected books, Art T. Burton has spent the better part of twenty years reclaiming the heritage of African Americans in the American West. Art received bachelor's and master's degrees in cultural and ethnic studies at Governors State University, where he served as student assistant dean. He is currently a professor of history at South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois.
