Douglas E. Richards

Douglas E. Richards has written numerous feature articles for the award-winning magazine National Geographic KIDS as well as for American Fencing magazine. He is the author of the Prometheus Project series, the first title of which—Trapped—is listed as recommended literature by the California Department of Education and has been used as a read-aloud in classrooms across the country. Douglas has a master's degree in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He lives in San Diego, California, with his wife and children.
