Dr. Richard A. Warshak
Dr. Richard A. Warshak is a clinical and research psychologist and a world-renowned authority on divorce, custody, and the psychology of alienated children. Born in Manhattan, Dr. Warshak grew up in Brooklyn, New York, graduated from Midwood High School at the age of sixteen, and earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University. Dr. Warshak received his PhD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he is now a clinical professor of psychology. He sits on the editorial board of three professional journals. Dr. Warshak has been interviewed by major television networks in the U.S. and Canada, and his work has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today, Macleans, Washington Post, London Sunday Telegraph, Toronto Star, and Time. Dr. Warshak is also the author of The Custody Revolution. He lives and works with his wife in Dallas, Texas.
