Leo Champion
Born in Sydney, Australia, Leo Champion came to the U.S. for college and wound up getting more of an education than he'd planned for.
After being kicked out of community college and then dropping out of Harvard Extension, he went into journalism and wound up as publisher of the Allston-Brighton Voice.
A switch in careers followed—he became a copywriter, then a marketer and PR director, for a couple of startups before going out on his own as a freelance marketing/communications consultant.
His novels are an excuse to live like Jack Kerouac and Ernest Hemmingway . . . eventually.
