Mikkel Becker, KPA, CTP, CBCC-KA, CDBC, CPDT-KA, CTC

Mikkel Becker is a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC-KA), Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), and Certified Dog Behavior Counselor (CDBC) through IAABC. She specializes in reward-based training with a specialty in preventing and addressing fear issues using calm, trust, and communication. Mikkel graduated from the San Francisco SPCA Dog Training Academy, the Karen Pryor Academy, and the Purdue Dogs and Cats Course and has completed internships at Tufts Animal Behavior Clinic and Jungle Island, where she specialized in orangutan care. Mikkel is the animal trainer for Vetstreet.com and resident trainer for Dr. Wailani Sung as well as a coauthor of five books and a regular contributor to national publications. She is also the lead animal trainer for FearFreePets.com.
