Patri Friedman

Patri Friedman received a BS in math from Harvey Mudd, an MS in Computer Science from Stanford, and an MBA from NYIT. In 2008 he founded The Seasteading Institute with seed funding from PayPal founder Peter Thiel, as well as the annual Ephemerisle floating festival. Friedman, the grandson of economist Milton Friedman, currently works at Google, runs a micro-venture capital fund, and lives with his family in San Jose, California.
