Peter Greene
Peter Greene was born in Houlton, Maine, in 1945 and moved to Dayton, Kentucky, shortly after the close of WWII. His first real job was working at Wiedemann Brewery. He attended night school at the University of Cincinnati studying accounting and business administration. In March 1966, Greene enlisted in the USMC and deployed to Vietnam nine months later. After coming home from Vietnam, Peter Greene married his wife, Kathy. He worked on the Maine Central Railroad and retired after thirty years. Kathy passed away in 2015. They have six grandchildren and three beautiful little great granddaughters. Peter now enjoys officiating basketball and soccer.
