Rodion Korablev

Rodion Korablev was born in the USSR into a regular Soviet family of engineers. He was the eldest of two brothers.

Rodion acquired an avid interest in sci-fi and adventure books from a very young age, starting by devouring the tomes by Jules Verne and Alexander Dumas before moving on to the translated classics of American science fiction by Robert A. Heinlein, Clifford D. Simak, Isaak Asimov, and Harry Harrison, among many others.

Still, he himself didn't dare try his hand at writing at the time. Having finished school, he studied chemistry at uni and started a career as a chemical engineer, never stopping to consume more science fiction books. He then got married and had a daughter—but even then books remained his main passion.

So finally, he decided to build his own world, one with its own characters and its own rules.
