Walter Lewin
Walter Lewin, Professor Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, taught physics at MIT for more than thirty years. A native of the Netherlands, he received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Delft. Over the course of his career, he earned awards including the NASA Award for Exceptional Scientific Achievement, the Alexander von Humboldt Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, MIT's Science Council Prize for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, and the Everett Moore Baker Memorial Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.
